FIDOF coordinates information about festivals and cultural events and stimulates organizers to continue being an integral part of world's communication between people by providing stages for professionals and amateurs

FIDOF awards the most outstanding talented young talented artists on stages with the FIDOF DIPLOMA, which represents an international confirmation and is used in the artist's biography regularly. FIDOF has contacts with over 1,600 festivals and events taking place in 102 countries world-wide.

FIDOF is the organizer of the DISTANT ACCORDS AWARDS GALA CEREMONIES. As the OSCARS are to the motion picture industry or the GRAMMYS to the record industry, the DISTANT ACCORDS AWARDS is to the festivals of the world, honoring excellence in festival production. These ceremonies have taken place in Los Angeles, New Orleans, Nashville, Cannes, etc.

FIDOF is the world's link between festival organizers, corporate sponsors, record and television companies, classical and light music and other events and their managements, as well as impresarios, publishers, artists, songwriters and other professionals involved in festivals and events.
